Welcome to the Association of Indoor Modelers website.
AIM represents San Diego area clubs interested in indoor flying.
We currently fly in the Alliant Gym at Alliant University.

The next flying date is May 27th, 2022,  8:00 – 10:00PM.

Some of the dates for 2022 are on the calendar.  The remaining dates for the year will be added as we get them.  There should be about one per month through December.

All dates and times are listed on the calendar.

Temperature checks may be done at the door and proper masks are recommended.  Social distancing should be easy to achieve.

Due to the complications associated with COVID, the cost of using Alliant gym has increased by nearly 50%.  The suggested donation is $120.  We no longer offer the option of paying $10 per night.  As is done in nearly every other model club, we now need all members to pay in full.  Some of the leadership will be chipping in extra to cover the deficit.  As usual, if you fly RC, you will need to be a current AMA member to complete your AIM membership. You can start the process now by visiting the AIM Membership Request page. Kite flyers do not need AMA. You are strongly encouraged to pay by using our PayPal form. The form will let you pay using your PayPal account or your credit card.
